Scott Smith

Scott Smith leads Realta Wealth as Chief Executive Officer, overseeing
strategy, growth, and platform development across the firm’s broker-dealer
and registered investment adviser businesses. He brings more than 20 years
of experience spanning wealth management, alternative investments, and
real estate capital markets, with a consistent focus on helping financial
advisors access differentiated investment opportunities within strong
regulatory frameworks.

Before joining Realta, Scott served as CEO of Flatirons Asset Management,
where he led a private equity-backed investment platform of $500 million in
self-storage assets. As President and CEO of FactRight, he built one of the
industry’s most recognized alternative investment due diligence and risk
advisory firms, serving more than 500 broker-dealers and RIAs nationwide. He
also served as Director of Alternative Investments at Ameriprise Financial and
as Managing Director of Capital Markets for multiple real estate investment
platforms.

Scott’s leadership philosophy centers on aligning advisor success with
disciplined firm infrastructure, enabling growth, accountability, and
professionalism to reinforce each other. He has built national sales teams,
launched investment platforms, advised on large real estate transactions,
and guided firms through complex strategic transitions
