Joseph Cook

Joe Cook is Chief Revenue Officer or Realta Wealth. He is a 1999 graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, IL and studied extensively at L’Universite de France Comte in Besancon, France. 

Joe is a long time industry veteran having spent his entire career in the financial services industry. Prior to his time at Realta, Mr. Cook led multiple organizations in various principal and non-licensed executive positions building both independent hybrid financial services firms and sponsors.  He also currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Concept Capital, and prior to that he served sequentially as Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Investment Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for Arete Wealth Management, LLC, a FINRA member firm and its holding company Old Growth Capital, LLC. Joe saw that firm through numerous examinations with FINRA and the SEC and also led many of the efforts that led the firm to grow from approximately $750,000 in annual revenues to over $35 Million in revenues prior to his departure.

Joe also serves on the board of managers for an energy industry roll-up and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. He holds FINRA Series 22 and 63 licenses.
